Creation Investment Fund

As the voice of opera in the Atlantic provinces, Opera on the Avalon turns our stories into art by developing and commissioning new operatic and multidisciplinary works. The Creation Investment Fund empowers and enables OOTA to develop new Canadian operas and digital projects that are innovative, groundbreaking, and resonant for all.

We program new commissions every four years, with the goal to start essential and engaging conversations about how we see ourselves and the world around us and, in turn, how we can fully realize those stories. Please contact our office for more information.
